Solution
HyPerPure® is the result of a journey that began around ten years ago, with its first application on a plasma-derived product packaged in a double blister. Since then, the technology has evolved, also thanks to the collaboration with Camozzi Automation, which has provided key solutions for the continuous improvement of the machine. In particular, the integration of Series D solenoid valves, equipped with CoilVision® technology based on the Profinet protocol, has enabled predictive monitoring of components and greater control over energy efficiency. Each actuation is tracked in real time and analyzed to detect wear or anomalies, enhancing operational continuity. Complementing these solutions are the Series MC and MX filters, the door gasket management module, and—currently in advanced testing—the DRVI actuator for low-voltage doors. Camozzi has also provided the smart flow meter to measure physical parameters such as temperature, humidity, and pressure. The system is completed by FS/FSP sensors, which monitor air consumption in real time during work cycles, helping reduce waste and ensure full visibility of operational performance.
Results
The introduction of HyPerPure® marked a significant step forward in terms of efficiency, sustainability, and application flexibility. The system enables a 70% reduction in both energy consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to traditional methods, and operates without any water consumption. Hydrogen peroxide, which easily breaks down into water vapor and oxygen, has proven to be an effective and safe sterilizing agent. The recent classification of hydrogen peroxide as a Class A sterilant by the U.S. FDA has further strengthened the machine’s positioning in international markets. Today, HyPerPure® is used not only with heat-sensitive products but also with non-heat-sensitive solids, and is available in configurations ranging from 150 liters to 85 cubic meters. The project confirms the strategic value of the collaboration between De Lama and Camozzi Automation, laying the foundation for further developments in predictive technologies and smart manufacturing.
