The added value of our multi-technological approach has led us to create an interdisciplinary department called MARC.
The Mechatronic Application Research Center, through simulation and research activity, is able to design ever more advanced systems and components, often in collaboration with other centres of excellence renown all over the world.
The digitisation of production processes and the interconnection of components are in fact the pillars on which we build important research projects in the fields of mechatronics, robotics and materials sciences.
Partnerships with universities and research institutes
- In the United States, Camozzi has joined the Industrial Liaison Program of the Computer Science faculty in Berkeley, California, to develop technology platforms for machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- A joint lab dedicated to robotics, automation and sustainable materials operates at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT, Italian Institute of Technology) in Genoa.
- A collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan is active to seize opportunities created by industrial digitalisation and collaborative robotics to develop smart solutions and innovative production processes.
